Great lock
I love this lock. It was very easy to install. So easy to use. It eliminates digging and fumbling for keys. You can use the app to lock and unlock the door for example from the car which is really helpful when coming home in the dark. You can use the app to double check that you have locked the door when you’re in bed or away from the house. It’s good quality and well made. I wish I had installed this years ago.

Feature Rich, Voice Volume from Inside
This is a feature rich combination electronic door lock. It was relative easy to install and the unit seems to be well made. I like the many ways one can operate the lock, from a security code to the fingerprint reader and of course, a back up physical key. I did not use the app or try to control it with a voice assistant software but those methods are available as well. The camera feature is a bonus and eliminates the need for a doorbell camera. The lock operates smoothly whether from the inside or outside. One detractor I found was the voice prompts and feedback. They were hard to hear because they come from the part of the lock which is inside the house. It would have been better to have the sound come from the outside part, as it’s usually louder outside than inside. Another feature which would have made this set even better is if it came with a matching door handle.

The unit has a solid metal build and the finish feels premium. Installation was straightforward: once I drilled the standard-sized hole, the lock sat flush and everything lined up well.Getting setup was easy, too. I added fingerprints and programmed a few user codes in just minutes. At first, I wasn’t sure how dependable it would be, but the sensor recognizes my fingerprints reliably, even when my fingers are a little damp or cold. It also accepts pin codes, which is a handy backup if my hands are full or I’m not wearing gloves. The lock feels tight and responds quickly, with no jiggling or delay when locking or unlocking.My favorite feature is the auto-lock setting, I don’t need to remember to turn the deadbolt; it secures itself a few seconds after closing, which gives me peace of mind. If there’s one minor quirk, it’s that the keypad LEDs are a bit bright at night, so I ended up covering it with a little strip of dark tape to diffuse the glow. Overall, this lock gives me both convenience and confidence in my home security, definitely worth considering as an upgrade from a basic deadbolt.

I installed this smart lock on my front door and honestly I’m super impressed with how much it offers. Between the fingerprint scanner, keypad, built in camera, and app and voice control, it’s like having a full security system built into one.The fingerprint reader is surprisingly fast and accurate. I’ve saved multiple prints for myself and family here, and it recognizes them instantly there have been no delays or second tries, it works. The keypad is responsive and lights up clearly at night, which is a small but nice detail when it is dark out.The camera is one of my favorite features, it provides a clear view of who is at the door, and the live feed through the app works very smoothly. Plus, the motion detection alerts are a great touch for added security when you’re not home.The smart app lets me lock and unlock the door remotely, check logs of who accessed it, and manage temporary codes (perfect for guests or deliveries). I’ve also connected it to Alexa, and being able to control the lock with voice commands is way more convenient than I expected, a feature I didn’t know I needed lol.Installation took about 30 minutes with basic tools. The instructions were clear, and everything fit right into my existing deadbolt spot. The build quality feels solid, not flimsy or cheap, and the design looks clean and modern on the door.All in all this smart lock gives me more control and visibility with home security. Keyless Entry Is the Way To GO!
This set was remarkably easy to install. I needed a easy to access BUT SECURE door set up for the door that goes from my garage to my home, so it’s an interior door but still needs front door security measures intact. This fingerprint recognition system is the way to go! Forget having to keep your keys on you! The finish is really gorgeous high quality weatherproof protected. Excellent functionality!

This seamless integration is perfect for me, as I already use multiple Tuya-compatible devices and locks at home, making it easy to manage everything within a single app ecosystem.Another standout feature is the built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. Unlike many smart locks that rely solely on Bluetooth and require a separate Bluetooth-to-Wi-Fi gateway for remote access, this smart deadbolt lock connects directly to your Wi-Fi network. This eliminates the need for additional hardware, enabling effortless remote locking, unlocking, and management from anywhere. Arpha quality with a wealth of features
This is Arpha’s D289C Video Doorbell Deadbolt being sold by Aeropplock at a great price. It has all of the features you could want. Of course, for full functionality you will need to download and use a phone app. Aeropplock recommends the Tuya app. There are other apps available like Cldbus or the Arpha app, but I did not try them. The deadbolt can be unlocked by using a key, a pre-programmed fingerprint, or a pre-programmed user passcode. Additionally, the phone app adds real-time unlocking as well as one-time passcodes and time-limited passcodes. The deadbolt runs on 4 AA batteries, and I especially like the external USB-C power port for access when the batteries have died. It has an integrated doorbell with a USB-powered remote chime and an integrated video camera. Both of which work with the app. I like that it connects to my home 2.4GHz WiFi without the need for an extra gateway device. Installation was straightforward, however I wish the latchplate had rounded corners. Its square corners caused me to have to chisel on the side of my front door. Some locks include both styles of plates: one with rounded corners and one with square corners. I wish Arpha did also.So far, I have not encountered any problems, so I recommend it.
